Brief Profile

Dr. DL Suthar is an Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, College of Natural Science, at Wollo University, Dessie, Amhara Region, Ethiopia. I have acquired a full-time Ph.D. in Mathematics (Special Function) with 17 years of teaching experience and 20 years of research experience, including a Ph.D. program. In my supervision, 6 students have completed Ph. D. degree and 21 students completed M.Sc. Thesis. My research interests include Special functions, Fractional Calculus, Integral transforms, Basic Hypergeometric Series, Geometric Function Theory and Mathematical Physics. I had also organized a diverse range of workshops/conferences in the fields of mathematical sciences, engineering innovations and a number of seminars on mathematical discipline in order to enrich their knowledge and the skills of the student community. Apart from the above, I received the International Travel Grants from ICM (Brazil, Russia), and ICIAM (Spain, Japan) to attend International Conferences. I have published 224 research articles in national and international journals and 5 books for engineering students. I have played a role as author in the preparation of the Modules for Special Function, Tensor analysis, and Research Methodology. I wrote curriculum for establishing the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Analysis, and curriculum for establishing Master’s Degree in Real Analysis, Algebra, Differential Equation, and Numerical Analysis. I have ample knowledge of mathematical application skills, such as MATLAB, Mathematica, Lingo, Maple, Latex. I am a lifetime member of the Indian Science Congress Association, the Society for Special Function & Their Application, the Indian Mathematical Society and I also act as a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews/MathSciNet., the Zentralblatt MATH and a number of well-known journals.
